Heavy duty loading ramps are essential to the safety and process flow of warehouses, factories, and agricultural product depots. They allow end users to safely maneuver large pieces of heavy equipment into and out of tractor trailer beds. When purchasing ramps, be sure to look for products that offer reliable stability, corrosion resistance, and good traction that will prevent slippage in wet weather conditions. Vision Masters carries all aluminum ramps that measure 14 inches or 16 inches wide, depending on model number.
Because there are different sized trucks and trailers, ramps should be built with the simplest design possible that can be adapted to as many different trailer beds as possible. Heavy duty loading ramps should firmly secure to both the back of the bed and to the ground or concrete when equipment is being unloaded or loaded. The ramp should also be designed to rest at an angle where weight will be evenly distributed in all directions without rocking from side-to-side. Ideally as well, ramps should be portable and easy to store.
Vision Master heavy duty loading ramps are built with a number of features that make them ideal for loading heavy agricultural equipment or large commercial equipment. Ramps attach to trailer rails with a heavy duty hook and provide a smooth riding surface with an extra wide serrated cross bar for traction. We have two models you can choose from to accommodate varying trailer lengths. The shorter model measure seven and a half feet and the longer model measures fourteen feet in length. Seven foot models feature a weight capacity of 10,000 pounds per axle, and fourteen foot models feature a capacity of 8,000 pounds per axle.
Vision Master heavy duty loading ramps also feature a light weight, all aluminum construction. Serrated feet at the bottoms of the ramp establish and maintain a stable connection to the ground. Ramps can be easily stacked on top of each other for convenient transport and storage and are resistant to rust. Safety straps are included with both models options. Smaller models weigh less than fifty pounds and are easy for one person to maneuver into position. Longer ramps weigh less than one hundred pounds and are still light enough for two people to safely and quickly setup.
