What is the difference between a standard ladder and an industrial safety ladders?
A standard ladder allows a person to climb to a higher level using gravity and angle of mount to hold the ladder in place. The problem with this lies in the fact that people can easily misjudge the proper angle and position the ladder in a less than ideal place. The weight of the user will then cause the ladder to slip, and the user will fall to the ground.
Industrial safety ladders work differently. They mount in fixed positions that offer far more stability than a ladder that leans against a surface. Users can climb up and down these ladders without fear of the ladder moving or collapsing beneath them.
What kinds of companies use industrial safety ladders?
All companies use them to some degree. Obviously warehouses, factories, and construction companies would be the most the ones who would use them throughout the day as integral parts of their process flow. These companies work in facilities where parts, supplies, and products are stored on shelves and racks that require ladder to access.
Other types of organizations, however, need them just as much. Offices with small storage closets have to store many items on top shelves that cannot be accessed without a ladder. School science labs, sports equipment storage areas, and school supply rooms also require safer access materials that are close to the ceiling than a standard ladder design would allow.
What types of industrial safety ladders do you sell?
We sell models suited to all of the environments mentioned above. Smaller aluminum ladders are available for office storage rooms and closets. Single Trak Wood Ladders are used by clerks to stock shelves in bookstores and grocery stores. We also have a number of heavy duty ladders for construction sites, warehouses, and factories. These include articulating ladders that can be mounted at multiple angles, models with cages to prevent falls, and stock picking ladders for stock rooms with high ceilings.
