Jay Mock, Director of Internet Marketing at VisionMasters, was a guest lecturer today to a group of web design students at North Harris College. Jay spoke about the importance of Internet marketing and specifically the methods of generating traffic to a web site. Jay was invited to speak by the adjunct professor of the class, Mr. Patrick Ryan, who is the President of the Texas Chamber of E-Commerce. In addition to the weekly Internet marketing classes sponsored by VisionMasters Technologies, Jay speaks regularly around the state at various expos, colleges, and business groups.

VisionMasters and the Galleria Chamber of Commerce are jointly sponsoring a 10 class series titled "Marketing Your Business on the Internet." Various class topics include: Introduction to Web Browsers, Creating Search Engine Friendly Web Sites - Part I & II, Unknown Promotional Methods using E-mail, Graphics that Work & Banner Ad Creation, Using USENET: How to Promote your Web Site worldwide for Free, and more. The title of their speech was "The Truth Behind Online Marketing: the Dunhill Case Study." In the speech, Jay discussed several methods of driving traffic to web sites and then Jim Walker followed by discussing how their company has implemented these techniques resulting in their own successful web site.
