In the warehouse equipment section of the Vision Masters website, you will find pallet handling equipment products that enable workers to a number of specialized tasks efficiently, safely, and comfortably. Level loaders keep pallets at a constant height as they are being loaded and unloaded. Turntables turn loads so workers do not have to walk around pallets. Rotators/inverters allow workers to access individual items stored on pallets without having to unpack and repack entire loads. Transporters take the place of forklifts when moving pallets into position. Models in select categories can also be ordered in stainless steel for sensitive environments.
The level loader is a device that keeps a pallet at the optimal height for a worker to comfortably reach its contents. This is particularly useful when unloading pallets. If a worker is removing boxes, for example, from a pallet that is stored on the floor, then the worker will have to stoop over to access the lower rows of boxes. Level loaders lift pallets up to a height that allows workers to access contents at chest level. As boxes are removed, the loader lifts the lower rows of boxes to the same height, eliminating the need for the worker to bend over to retrieve them. As pallets are being loaded, the unit will move the pallet down so that the top row of boxes being loaded will always be at the same working height.
Many level loaders in our pallet handling equipment inventory also feature turntable tops that allow workers to rotate pallets for nearside loading. This eliminates the need for workers to walk around the pallets as they are working with their contents. Other loaders are designed for pallets to be rolled directly onto a platform that is then lifted into position
For certain types of loads, however, it is best to leave the pallet on the ground and not elevate its contents. Applications like this need a floor-level device that will rotate the pallet a full 360 degrees so that the worker can access contents for nearside loading, unloading, or shrink wrapping. Vision Masters provides disc turntable units that are fed by stackers or forklifts. By rotating the load on the turntable, workers move boxes and other packages to them to maintain a constant position of nearside loading.
Another type of pallet handling equipment is the pallet rotator/inverter. This highly specialized device is used when workers need to access individual packages located at the bottom of the load. The device will vertically lift a pallet off the ground and rotate it so the worker can retrieve the package from the bottom row, a bottom corner, or an odd position in the middle of the stack. Jobs that used to take 20 minutes of unpacking, stooping, bending, and repacking now take only seconds with a pallet rotator/inverter.
The final category of pallet handling equipment includes devices that can be used to move pallets when forklifts, or licensed forklift drivers, are not available. These devices are collectively referred to as pallet transporters. They are used to move pallets around on a jobsite and also have lift capabilities. Some of these devices, like the Eazypallet lift truck can dual function like traditional level loaders, assisting with loading and unloading tasks. Others are used to move and stack pallets.
