Campfire Rings – New Swivel Grate
Meets ADA Guidelines
This new Swivel Grate meets the ADA guidelines for one hand operation and requires less than 5 pounds of force to move. The single-level Swivel Grate will move 180 degrees – from over the fire to completely out of the firering – for easy fire building or serving. The handle is never over the fire. This new style Swivel Grate is available on two wheelchair accessible campfire rings.
Each of these firerings is rolled using 3/16" thick steel, with 1" formed flange for strength and safety. The cooking grate uses a 3/8" dia. grate bar, a 1/2" dia. perimeter bar, and includes a handle grip of 1/8" x 1/2" coiled steel bar. Finished with high temp non-toxic black enamel paint. Pin anchors provide a fixed location (See Anchor Systems below).
The ring is filled with aggregate (not included) to about 9" above the ground to provide the elevated fire surface required by the ADA Guidelines. This fill also insulates the ground to reduce the chance of root fires in heavily wooded areas. Drain/draft holes are provided around the perimeter of the campfire ring.

• Optional: Heat Shield around outside of firering offers added protection to the top half of the firering exposed to heat from the fire (add “/H” to the end of either Model Number). (See Heat Shield below).
